Hey there!
My name is Varun Saxena (He/They).
I am a writer, game designer, and educator currently based in Greensboro, NC, where I am a Post-MFA Fellow at UNCG. Prior to this, I worked as a Game Writer and Interaction Designer at Killer Snails in Brooklyn, NY.
I have also taught at CUNY- Hostos Community College and before that, I graduated from NYU Game Center with an M.F.A. in Game Design.
Using my background in games and film, I strive to depict new-age stories that explore the cross-section of culture, diversity, and human intimacy; some of the topics I am most passionate about.
When not working, you can find me cooking experimental Indian-fusion food, running at parks, watching slice-of-life movies, or working out at the gym!
